Faisalabad ASO seizes smuggled goods worth Rs 1.6m in second week of October

FAISALABAD: The Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) Faisalabad conducted various operations against smugglers and recovered various goods worth Rs 1,600,000 during second week of October.

Sources told Customs Today, that Deputy Collector Muhammad Rizwan Khan constituted a team to curb smuggling attempts. The ASO team consisted of Saeed Superintendent Akhtar Joiya, Inspectors Khalid Ashraf Noor, Ali Zahid,  and Sepoys Muhammad Ashraf, Liaquat Ali, Israr Ahmad and Muhammad Abdullah. The team impounded non-duty paid vehicle of worth Rs 6,00,000 and different goods worth Rs 1,000,000. All these items were brought into the country without payment of custom duty and taxes.
