FAISALABAD: The Customs Intelligence and investigation (I and I) Faisalabad has raided near Manvra Cinema and confiscated a smuggled generator worth Rs 2.5 million.
Sources told Customs Today that customs Intelligence received credible information through the Additional Director Intelligence and Investigation (I and I) Faisalabad, Azmat Tahira.
Following the information, the Customs team confiscated the smuggled generator from a Mazda mini truck bearing registration No. T.K.B- b 225. The Customs Intelligence has arrested the accused on the spot. After inquiring the legal documentary evidences, accused failed to produce the same regarding the legal import of the generator.
The Customs Investigation has lodged a case against the accused and started investigation.
