Faisalabad Customs I&I confiscates smuggled items worth Rs15 million in April

FAISALABAD: Pakistan Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) Faisalabad seized illegally imported goods worth Rs 15.7 million Involving duty and taxes worth Rs 665,030 during the April-2015.

As per detail, the official of the customs I&I conducted various operation following the instruction of the Additional Director Ismail and Deputy Director Ijaz.

Customs I&I Faisalabad impounded 7 Vehicles worth Rs 5.55 million and two Hino truck worth Rs 5.2 million. Officials impounded non-duty paid vehicles including Toyota Fielder car bearing registration no. AAP- 636/ Q.T.A, Toyota Hiace van bearing registration no. BMA-225, unregister Toyota Corolla car, Hino Ranger frame, Toyota vitz car bearing registration no. LED-13-5060, Toyota Hiace van bearing registration no. BMA-203, Toyota Hilux Surf bearing registration no. BC-9867 and Toyota Corolla car(x) bearing registration no. AAH-922.

Besides Customs I&I seized cloth worth Rs 4.1 million and auto parts worth Rs 355,605 and other items.

The Raids were conducted by customs Intelligence and investigation Faisalabad teams consisting on various roads and place including Sheikhpura roads, motorway, Smundri roads, Jhang roads and also on Sarghoda.

Customs I&I registered two cases against the accused during the April-2015.
