Faisalabad Customs seizes smuggled items worth Rs 6.72m in December

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Customs authorities impounded smuggled items worth Rs 6.72 million during 15 days of December.

Sources told Customs Today that customs intelligence official seized a used generator of 15 KVA worth Rs 200,000,  smuggled generators 20 KVA worth Rs 220,000 , cotton cloth bed sheet and curtain cloth 110 rolls 8356 kgs worth Rs 1,737,072 and smuggled printed and dyed cloth 402 kilograms worth Rs 360,000.

Faisalabad custom intelligence under the head of FIU Khushab registered two seizure cases  including Hino Ranger Truck bearing registration no. SBA-824 worth Rs 3,000,000 and Toyota car bearing registration no. NZE 121 worth Rs 1,200,000.

The cutoms team which took part in the operation includes Zahid Saleem Mirza SIO, Main Muhammad Yousaf and Farzand ali IO Tajamal Hussain, Muhammad Musaddiq Ahmad sepoys. Seizure report submitted to adjudication department for further legally action.
