Faisalabad Customs to hold auction of NDP vehicles & goods today

FAISALABAD: Collectorate of Customs will conduct auction of impounded vehicles and seized goods on October 10 Wednesday (today).

Sources told Customs Today that the Collectorate will present major lots for open public auction. The vehicles which will be available for auction include Honda Accord, Toyota Mark X car, Toyota Hilux Surf jeep, Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota Corolla X car, Toyota Premio G car and Toyota Hilux double cabin.

The items which will be offered for auction include Indian black tea, Samsung LED TV in different models and series drill grinder old and used foreign origin electric items refrigerators Axal fan and other different lots.

All these vehicles and other items were seized by the Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) of Faisalabad, Mianwali, Sargodha, Jhang and Sara-e-Muhajir during different anti-smuggling activities in the region.

Deputy Collector Aneeqa Afzal will supervise the auction process while Superintendent Dilawar Hussain and Upper Division Clerk Khadim Hussain will hold the auction process.

The Customs department is presenting all those vehicles and goods which were ripped up and their seizure cases were properly concluded after the adjudication of seized goods.
