Faisalabad Excise auctions 37 attractive registration numbers

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation Faisalabad has held an auction of attractive registration numbers of new series for motor vehicles.

As per details, the auction process was completed at excise office with low interest of the citizens and resultantly it remained almost fail to earn revenue through auctions of attractive numbers.

However, registration number ‘7’ was auctioned against Rs 17,200, the number ‘5’ at Rs 15,500 but the number ‘1’ got highest bid of Rs 40,000.

During the auction process, only 37 attractive registration numbers were auctioned by collecting Rs 488,900.

Meanwhile, Director Excise and Taxation Faisalabad, Ahmad Saeed said that department has distributed numbers of motorcycles as reward among employees on their performance.
