Faisalabad Excise collects Rs 462m as motor tax in 7 months

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department has collected Rs 462.694 million in wake of motor tax from July 2015 to January 2016 of the current fiscal year and achieved its annual target of Rs 857.58 million up to 54 percent.

The department collected Rs 354.122 million as motor tax from Faisalabad during the seven months .It has achieved yearly target of Rs 645.436 million up to 55 percent.

Similarly, it has collected Rs 47.321 million from the Jhang against the assigned target of Rs 96.458 million for the year and it has achieved its target up to 49 percent.

From Chiniot, it has generated Rs 18.708 million in wake of motor tax by achieving its target of Rs 32.494 million up to 58 percent.

Similarly, it has collected Rs 42.633 million from Toba Tek Singh against the assigned target of Rs 83.192 during the seven months, which is up to 51 percent.
