Faisalabad Excise collects Rs 55.47m as professional tax

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department has collected Rs 55.478 million under the head of professional tax during the first nine months of current fiscal year and achieved its annual target of Rs 87.269 million up to 64 percent.

It has collected Rs 42.716 from the Faisalabad against the assigned target of Rs 65.492 by achieving its target up to 65 percent, while it collected Rs 5.177 million against the target of Rs 8.937 million from Jhang.

Meanwhile, the department generated Rs 2.510 million against the target of Rs 4.135 million from Chiniot and achieved its target up to 61 percent. The excise collected Rs 5.076 million against the target of Rs 8.706 million by achieving target up to 58 percent.
