Faisalabad Excise collects Rs 59.6m as professional tax

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department collected Rs 59.619 million under the head of professional tax during the first ten months of the current fiscal year and achieved its annual target of Rs 87.269 million up to 68 percent.

It collected Rs 45.576 million from Faisalabad city against the assigned target of Rs 65.492, million. From Jhang, it collected Rs 5.491 million as professional tax against the assigned target of Rs 8.937 million and achieved up to 61 percent target.

Meanwhile, the department also collected Rs 2.937 million against the target of Rs 4.135 million from Chiniot and achieved target up to 71 percent. It collected Rs 5.614 million against the target of Rs 8.706 million and achieved target up to 64 percent in Toba Tek Singh.
