Faisalabad Excise collects Rs 637m property tax in five months

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation property branch collected Rs 637.335 million during first five months (July-November) of current fiscal year 2015-16 by achieving 55 percent of the target for the year.

The government has assigned Rs 1151.46 million to the Faisalabad region.

The excise has collected Rs 551.46 million as property tax from Faisalabad region against the yearly target of Rs 985.69 million, which is 56 percent of the target.

The Jhang Excise collected Rs 24.793 million by marking 49 percent achievement of the target that is Rs 50.348 million.

However, the Chiniot Excise collected Rs 23.153 million against the assigned target of Rs 50.836 million and achieved 46 percent of the target.

The Toba Tek Singh Excise collected Rs 38.359 million against the assigned target of Rs 64.585 million for the year and achieved 59 percent during the said period.
