Faisalabad Excise collects Rs 9.91m of cotton fee in seven months

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department has collected Rs 9.91 million during first seven months of the current fiscal year.

Sources informed Customs Today that department collected Rs 9.91 million under the head of cotton fee against the assigned target of Rs 23.3 million. The Excise Jhang branch collected Rs 1.045  million against the assigned target of Rs 3.792 million during the seven month of the ongoing fiscal year.

Sources said that Chiniot branch of excise department collected   cotton fee amounting to Rs  0.428  million against the set target of Rs 0.866 million.  While excise Toba Tek Singh collected cotton fee  to the tune of Rs 5.854 million against the assigned target of Rs 15.071  million.
