Faisalabad Excise collets Rs 4.9m as entertainment duty

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department has collected Rs 4.993 million under the head of entertainment duty during seven months of the current fiscal year and achieved its annual target of Rs 7.655 million up to 65 percent.

It has collected Rs 4.819 million from the Faisalabad against the assigned target of Rs 7.295, which is about 66 percent.

From Jhang, it could not collect tax under the head of entertainment duty against the assigned target of Rs 35,000.

Meanwhile, the department has also collected the Rs 148,000 against the target of Rs 111,000 by achieving its target up to 134 percent.

Therefore, the Toba Tek Singh region has collected Rs 25,000 against the assigned annual target of Rs 215,000 and achieved its target up to 12 percent.
