FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department has generated Rs 0.877 million through auction of motorcycle numbers.
Sources told Customs Today, that the Motor Registration Authority (MRA) held an auction for the sale of motorcycle registration numbers. During the auction, 257 motor cycles registration numbers attracted suitable bids and collected Rs 0.877 million. While the remaining registration numbers were rejected by the competent authority due to the lower offers.
Excise Faisalabad sold no. 1 for Rs 35,000. The auction was supervised by Muhammad Afzal Goraya, Mehar Muhammad Sajjad and Inspector Muhammad Nazim Hussain.
