FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department has collected Rs 4.782 million in terms of entertainment duty during the first six months of the fiscal year 2015-16.
As per details, the excise has been assigned Rs 7.65 million target for the year that has been achieved up to 62 percent during the said period.
From Faisalabad city, it has has collected Rs 4.608 million against the assigned annual target of Rs 7.295 million, which has been achieved up to 63 percent, while it has not collected any tax in wake of entertainment duty form Jhang.
Similarly, it has collected Rs 148,000 from Chiniot and surpassed the target by 34 percent, while Rs 25,000 was collected from Toba Tek Singh.
