Faisalabad Excise impounds 527 vehicles

FAISALABAD: The Excise & Taxation Department, in collaboration with Regional Transport Authority, impounded 527 vehicles in all four districts of the division for violation of the law and rules during the last week.

The teams checked a total of 3,804 vehicles and took 527 vehicles into custody for non-payment of token tax, plying on the roads without registration number-plates, route permit, fitness certificates and overloading etc. Challan tickets worth Rs 700,000 were issued to drivers.
