FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a human trafficker namely Ijaz Masih son of Michael Masih who is a resident of Gojra city.
Sources told Customs Today that FIA Deputy Director Syed Imam Zaidi conducted a raid along with his team and arrested the accused who was running illegal business of sending innocent people abroad after extorting big amounts from them. The accused extorted Rs 75,000 from a person for sending him to Dubai. The accused, however, failed to fulfill his commitment.
The officials sent the accused behind bars after registering a case FIR No. 456/2016 against him under Section (U/S), 17/22 Immigration Ordinance (E.O) 1979. Further investigations are still in progress till filing of this news.
