FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Faisalabad has arrested a human trafficker Ghulam Jaffar who is involved in sending people aboard.
Sources told Customs Today that Deputy Diretor Syed Imam Ali Zaidi received information that a person is involved in sending people abroad by using fake documents. He constituted a team comprising Sub-Inspector Taimoor Haider and Constables Ilyas Ahmad and Noman Bashir. The team raided the residence of the accused and arrested him.
During the raid FIA team recovered medical certificates, visa stamps and other travelling documents from the possession of accused. Sources said that the accused extorted a huge amount from different people in the name of sending them abroad. The FIA after registering a case of human smuggling against accused started investigations.
