Faisalabad FIA arrests two human smugglers

FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested two humans smugglers allegedly involved in sending people abroad illegally.

The FIA has arrested Muhammad Mehboob Alam Resident of Satellite Town Joharabad and Usman Shahid Resident of Faisal Road Samanabad, Faisalabad under Section 1974 PA and 1979 EO 17/12.

According to details, FIA Sub-Inspector Taimoor Haider during a raid near Joharabad apprehended the accused Mehboob Alam, while the other accused Usman Shahid was arrested by Sub-Inspector Muhammad Nadeen during an action near Khurrianwala.

An accused Usman has extorted Rs 800,000 from Noman Asif and Rs 450,000 from Muhammad Ali by showing the dream of sending them abroad.

Officials said that the accused persons have been sent behind the bars after registering a case number 403/15 and 405/15 against them. Further investigations are under way, in this regard.
