Sindh Excise to make 500 new appointments in February: Gyanchand Esrani

KARACHI: Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation Gyanchand Esrani has said that 500 people will be appointed in the department and recruitment will start in February.

Talking to Customs Today, he said that Excise Sindh is facing a huge shortage of staff, A summary has been sent to Sindh Chief Miniser Syed Qaim Ali Shah to grant permission for the appointment of new staff in the Excise Department. Now sources of Chief Miniser House informed that recruitment process will start in February.

Sources said in first stage 250 inspectors, 150 clerks and 100 other staff will be appointed. Replying to a question provincial minister said that he asked his department to finalize a list in this regard.
