FAISALABAD: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected Rs 26,532 million taxes in the first nine months of the current fiscal year against the assigned target of Rs 22,705 million.
Sources told Customs Today that the RTO collected Rs 15,478 million in income tax against the target of R 16,444 million, while it generated Rs 11,048 million in the wake of sales tax against the target of Rs 5,953 million.
The RTO recovered Rs 199 million under the head of federal excise duty against the assigned target of Rs 106 million. The Regional Tax Office Faisalabad has attained the revenue target due to effective tax collection measures from the FBR.
