Faisalabad RTO-I collects Rs 511.14m in first two weeks of March

FAISALABAD: The Regional Tax Office-1 collected Rs 511.14 million during the first 15 days of March.

Commissioner Regional Tax Office-I Sheikh Mohammad Azam told Customs Today that Rs 502.27 million were collected under the head of sales tax and Rs 8.87 million as federal excise duty in two weeks of the current month. Answering a question, he said that the RTO unit-1 collected Rs 177.52 million while unit-2 collected Rs 98.02 million and unit-3 Rs 226.72 as sales tax.
