Faisalabad RTO-II collects Rs 75.04m in 15 days of March

FAISALABAD: The Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) collected Rs 75.04 million under the head of sales tax during the first two weeks of March.

Talking to Customs Today, Commissioner Zone-II Dr Mohammad Akram Khan said that RTO-II unit-1 collected Rs 23.20 millions while unit-2 collected Rs 27.03 million and unit-3 collected Rs 23.74 million as sales tax.

He said that the RTO-II has still not collected any amount under the head of federal excise duty. He said the RTO team is working hard to speed up the revenue collection. He said that the RTO will definitely achieve the revenue target set for the fiscal year 2015-16.
