Faisalabad RTO Zone-I collects Rs 393m in 3 weeks of February.

FAISALABAD: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) Zone-I of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected Rs 393.49 million under the head of sales tax during the first three weeks of February, 2016.

The zone-I has collected Rs 372.31 million net sales tax during the said period, besides recovering Rs 21.18 million arrears from the taxpayers, Commissiner Muhammad Azam said.

He added that unit-I of the zone has collected Rs 92.65 million, unit-II Rs 71.88 million and unit-III collected Rs 207.78 million.

He further said that Rs 21.18 million, which were recovered in shape of arrears, has been collected by all units of the zone. He added that unit-I collected Rs 3.9 million, unit-II Rs 5.75 million and the unit-III collected Rs 11.51 during the said period.

Responding to a question, Commissioner Azam its zone was striving to achieve the assigned target by the end of current fiscal year 2015-16.
