FBR advises customs officials to apply for post of technical attache in WCO‏

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Customs wing has asked officials to apply for the post of technical attaché in World Customs Organizations, Brussels.

The World Customs Organization is offering an opportunity to Pakistan Customs for technical attaché post which will be appointed very soon. The FBR has issued directions to all offices of the Customs, including Customs Multan.

Any officers who are eligible for the technical post of WCO can apply with the assistance of Collectorate for this position. Interested eligible officers are requested to apply for the vacant post available in the world customs organization .Officers with sound knowledge of valuation with in the tariff and trade affairs along with risk management and intelligence with in compliance and facilitation are urged to apply for this post.

Eligibility criteria for the post of technical attaché post needs 3-4 years’ experience in the relevant field with qualification. The appointment on the key position enhances trade of Pakistan by assessing trade affairs of the various countries which will also give chance to customs department to bridge their gaps. Secretary International Customs Jameel Ahmad Baloch have also urged customs officials to apply for this technical post before 30th April.
