KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has allowed zero-rated sales tax on supply of gas to an industrial unit.
The FBR, exercising powers conferred upon it by clause (d) of section 4 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, read with SRO, 1125(I)2011 dated 31.12.2011, made the following further amendments in its Sales Tax General Order No 17 of 2007 dated September 13, 2007.
Under the amendments, in the Table, serial number 1132 in column (1) and entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4) will be added. The concession of zero-rated sales tax has been granted to Shahtaj Textile Mills Limited.
