FBR announces Rs 6m cash reward for Islamabad Customs’ staffers

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced Rs 6 million grant of cash reward for the staffer of the Model Customs Collectorate against their meritorious services during financial year 2015-16.

Deputy Collector Shahid Jan said that the FBR every year announced cash reward for the officials and officers, adding that there was no fixed money for reward. He said that Rs 2 million will be distributed among the officials of BS-1 to BS-16, while remaining Rs 4 million will be given for old pending and approved reward cases.

Shahid Jan said that the performance based reward fund was announced according to Award Rules 2012, adding that such rewards encouraged the employees to work diligently and honestly.

Other officers from all over Pakistan who are receiving rewards include Collector Arslan Subuctageen, Majid Yousafani, Collector Saeed Akram, ATT Director Wajid Ali, Adjudication Collector Javaid Chaudry, Abdul Basit Chaudry, PCA Director Gul Rehman, Director Wasif Memon, Collector Saifuddin Junejo, Collector Mujtuba Memon, Collector Agha Shahid Majeed, Collector Asghar Khan, Director Irfan-ur-Rehman, Director Yaqoob Mako, Director Asif Marghoob Siddiqui, Collector Manzoor Memon, Additional Director Farrukh Sajjad, Additional Collectors Ashfaq Khan, Fazl-e-Samad, Faisal Khan, Fareed Ahmed Khan, Umar Shafiq, Deputy Director Amjad Rajpar Deputy Collectors Ghulam Nabi Kamboh, Ali Ejaz, Mohammad Shoib Qazi, Amanullah Tareen, Jahanzaib Abbasi, Ali Dilawar Khanji, Assistant Director Tausif Aman, Assistant Collector Zamzam Aman, Hamid Hussain and several others.

This time 11 officers got 3-month basic salary as cash reward these include Chief Collectors Abdul Rasheed Sheikh and Mohammad Zahid Khokhar; Customs Intelligence DG Imtiaz Ahmed, Director Mohammad Saleem, Reforms & Automation Director Dr. Fareed Iqbal Qureshi, Preventive Collector Tariq Huda, Quetta Collector Saeed Jadoon, Gwadar Collector Saeed Akram, ADC Sadia Sheeraz, ADC Mohammad Saleem and DC Naveed Abbas Memon.
