Time For Taxes Message Shows Taxation Due

FBR announces Tax Advisory Committee on Wednesday

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Tax Office has announced members of Tax Advisory Committee for LTU, CRTO, RTO-II, Lahore to develop a more progressive tax structure with strong enforcement.

In pursuance of directions contained in FBR C No 6(61) (IR-Operations)/2016 dated February 13,2018, Tax Advisory Committee (TAC) in respect of LTU, CREO CRTO, Lahore and RTO-II, Lahore, will work under the chairmanship of S Nadeem Hussain Rizvi, Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue. The other 21 members would be consisted of people from business, trade and FBR Lahore.

The members included Lahore Corporate Regional Tax Officer Chairman Asim Ahmad, Lahore Large Taxpayer Unit, Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue Asim Majid Khan, and Lahore Regional Tax Officer-II Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue.

People from trade and industries who were picked up from business, legal fraternity and other walks of life included Lahore Chamber of Commerce LCCI President Malik Tahir Javaid as member, Zafar Mehmood as member, Maqsood Ahmad Butt, Qamar-uz-Zaman, President Lahore Tax Bar Association as member, Abdul Waheed, General Secretary, Lahore Tax Bar Association as member, Shahbaz Siddiqui, Vice President, Lahore Tax Bar Association as member, Mansoor Iqbal, Chairman Pakistan Tanners’ Association, Northern zone as member, S Anjum Zafar, Executive Member, All Pakistan Textile Mills Associations as member, M. Naeem Mir General Secretary All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajaran as member, Ch Mehbb Sirki, President All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajaran, Punjab as member, Shehzada Saleem, member Executive Body, All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajaran as member, M. Amin Butt, Partner, Amin Mudassar and CO, Chartered Accountant as member, M Kamran Butt, Partner, Taseer Hadi and Co, Chartered Accountant as member and Maqsood Ahmad Partner, Fargosan and co, Chartered Accountant as member.

The FBR also took on board the prominent taxpayers including Rabia Farrukh from M/s Orbisoft, RTO-II, Lahore, Kamran Arshad, Director Ghazi Fabrics LTU Lahore, Ghazala Hameed Razi Additional Commissioner (HQ), Regional Tax Office-II Lahore, Ali Adnan Zaidi, Additional Commissioner (HQ), Large Taxpayer Unit, Lahore and M Irfan, Additional Commissioner (HQ), Corporate Regional Tax Office, Lahore as member/general secretary.
