FBR assigns Rs4113m revenue collection target to Multan Customs for January

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has assigned Rs4113 million revenue collection task for the month of January 2019 to the Multan Collectorate.

Sources told Customs Today that the Collectorate is assigned monthly revenue collection target for the first month of the third quarter of the current fiscal year 2018-19.

The Collectorate is allocated with different revenue collection tasks under the head of customs duty (CD), sales taxes (ST), federal excise duty (FED) and withholding tax (WHT) for the ongoing month of January 2019.

The Collectorate is assigned customs duty collection target of Rs1297 million for the month of January 2019. The Customs Collectorate is assigned Rs2780 million target for collection of sales tax in January 2019.

The Federal Board of Revenue has given collection target of Rs.8 million in wake of federal excise duty for January 2019. Multan Customs is given income tax revenue collection task of Rs28 million for the month.
