FBR bans leaves of officials for training abroad

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has banned the officials, who have less than five years of services, from taking leaves to get training abroad. Every official will be granted one time leave for degree or training program abroad. If any official wants to complete his masters, he or she could be allowed one time leave.

According to sources, the Human Resource Department of the FBR has issued a policy guideline according to which every official who will proceed abroad for completion of PhD will have to fill a surety bond. According to that surety bond, the official will bound to work in the FBR for five years. While those official who will complete their masters will have to serve for three years in the FBR.
