ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to establish a new department to monitor the performance of industrial units.
As per details, officials name of the department will be Input-Output Assessment Organization. The head of this department would be Directorate General who’s designation will be equal to Chief Commissioner and any ex officer can be appointed on this post.

Directorate Input Output only monitoring the performance of industries, collect figure about it and send report to FBR. According to these reports FBR will make a report of revenue of industries those share with Large Tax Payer Units and Regional Tax Offices. FBR judge the deposit tax amount according to given reports. FBR officials informed that its a good step against tax evasion of industrial sector.
