FBR directs Customs Collectorates to enhance security measures

SIALKOT: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has instructed all Customs Collectorates of the country to place barbed wires inside and upper side of boundary walls of Customs Collectorates for security reasons.

Sources told Customs Today that the FBR has strictly instructed to all collectors to enhance security measures in their respective premises. Sources told Customs Today that the FBR has also instructed the security staff to be on high alert. While performing their duties, they must check all visitors and employees during their  entry on the premises of the Model Customs Collectorates (MCC).

Sources told the all Customs Collectorates security staff must check visitors and employees with detectors and watch the duty and performance of security staff and submit report to concerned collector on daily basis.

Meanwhile SHO Police Station Sambrial visited Customs Collectorates and met security incharge and other officials and instructed security staff and watch and check suspicious people while any person should not enter in the premises of  Collectorate without proper Identity.
