FBR directs IRS, PCS to ensure attendance before and after Eid

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has directed all heads of field formation of Inland Revenue Service (IRS) and Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) to ensure full attendance in the field units before and after the declared upcoming Eidul-Azha holidays.

Uzma Munir Secretary, Inland Revenue-I, has informed all departments concerned through official letter here on Saturday. According to the letter, she has instruction the offices to ensure full attendance in the field formations of the FBR before and after Eid  holidays.

She said that the competent authority has desired that no officer should be granted leave during Eid holidays with effect from 24-27 September (Sunday included). In case any officers have already been granted leave during the aforementioned days, the same may be treated as cancelled.

Strict disciplinary action shall be taken against the officers defying the instructions of the board.
