ISLAMABAD: On the directions of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Muhammad Khan, Security and Management Secretary Dr Farooq Jamil has directed all staff to wear the official cards while entering the FBR office.
The secretary has issued a circular stating that all officials and officers were asked repeatedly to display the official cards but the instructions were not followed. Due to not using the cards, the security staff is facing problems while identifying the officials and officer of the department.
The law enforcement agencies have directed to take strict security measures in order to avoid any unhappy event following the security threats.
The circular further stated that all officers are directed to wear the cards so any irrelevant person could not enter the building.
