LAHORE: The employees of the Federal Board of Revenue showed disappointment on 7.5 percent increment in salaries which was announced by government in budget 2015-16.
A survey was conducted in Regional Tax Office I-II Lahore where employees of different scales and posts termed this budget opposite to the wishes of the government employees.
Officials said that “only 7.5 percent increment in salaries in the Budget 2015-16 is not friendly as we are expecting up to 20 to 40 percent increase but it remained just a dream.”
They added that present government has given facilities to already privileged community, adding that policies of the government were not in favour of employees.
