FBR stops Saturday weekly off for staff until June 30

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has abolished one weekly off on Saturday for all field offices across the country until June 30, 2016 due to the preparations of next budget.

According to the office order, the FBR House, all collectorates, directorates and field formation will remain open on every Saturday till the end of the current fiscal year 2015-16.

On the other hand, all collectorates and directorates have informed the field offices regarding the ending of weekly off on Saturday. The FBR has taken this decision following the preparation of budget for next fiscal year. The weekly off will be restored from July 1.
