FBR extends concessionary regime for local goods till next June

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the period of concessionary regime for locally manufactured goods till June 30, 2019.

The FBR issued Customs General Order (CGO) No. 04/2018 stating that the list of locally manufactured goods will be applicable till one more year till June 30, 2019 instead June 30, 2018.

The FBR issued the list of locally manufactured goods on April 19, 2017 through CGO 02/2017 after consultation with Engineering Development Board (EDB) and other stakeholders. The goods imported by manufactures are allowed exemptions and concessions on condition that such goods are not locally produced.
