FBR extends suspension of 4 inspectors of Regional Tax Office, I, II

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue Regional Tax office Lahore has extended suspension of four inspectors of Inland Revenue for next three months.

The inspectors whose suspension was extended for next three months included Inland Revenue RTO, Lahore, Nadeem Ahmad Pannu, Inspector IR, RTO II, Lahore,  Syed Naeem Abas, Inspector IR, Ch Tanveer Ahamd and Malik Muhammad Akram.

The inspectors were suspended three months ago following the relationship between Federal Revenue Alliance Employees Union FBR and the Regional Tax Office Lahore management got strained.

It is pertinent to mention here due to the strained ties between the two sides FBR Union president was dismissed, union office was washed away, FIRs were registered against the union leaderships and many others were suspended as a consequence.

The FBR Islamabad and RTO Lahore both have issued notification of suspension extension of the inspector.
