KCCI prepares proposals for budget 2015-16

KARACHI: Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) has prepared budget proposals for budget 2015-16 in consultation with a broad cross-section of tax-payers including manufacturers, wholesalers, trading houses, retailers, tax consultants and tax bar associations, so as to ensure that a broad spectrum of sectors and industries are represented.

The major guiding principles are separation of Policy making process/Tax legislation from the Enforcement and Administration, Curtailment of Discretionary Powers, Minimize personal contact between tax payer and IR officers particularly the field formations, Simplification of Laws, Procedures, Discharge of Tax Liability and facilitation of the tax-payer in compliance and broadening of Tax base.
