FBR forms committee to promote officials of Customs Preventive

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has constituted Departmental Selection Promotion committees DSCs/DPCs to promote officials of various grades in the Customs field formation.

The sources told Customs Today that this promotion committee would take promotion of different officials of almost all grade at the Pakistan Customs including MCC Preventive, MCC Hyderabad, Directorate General of Internal Audit/Customs Valuation/IOCO (South/Training and Research/Post Clearance Audit/Directorate of Reforms and Automation Customs Karachi.

According to notification, the committee that would evaluate the promotions for the posts in BS-11 to 15 would be headed by Collector MCC Preventive Karachi Syed Muhammad Tariq Huda BS-20 as Chairman while Dr Muhammad Nadeem  Memon BS-19, Additional Director, Directorate General of Customs Valuation Karachi and Shoukat Ali BS-19, Additional Director DOT Customs Karachi will be the members of the committee.

While, the committee for promotions for posts of BS-1 to 10 would be headed by Manzoor Hussain Memon, BS 20 Director DG Customs Valuation Karachi as its chairman while Ms Nausheen Riaz Khan BS-18, Deputy Director, Directorate General of Customs Valuation Karachi and Omar Shafique BS-19 Additional Collector MCC Hyderabad would be the members of the committee.
