FBR imposes ban on transfer/posting till June 30 to maintain recovery process

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has imposed a ban on transfers and postings of the officials until June 30, 2015 in order to achieve the set revenue target for running fiscal year 2014-15.

Officials told Customs Today that promoted officer were also working at past positions due to the halt in transfers and postings, adding that the ban had been enforced by FBR Member Admin, Shahid Hussain Jataoi, with the consent of FBR chairman.

They informed that all those officials would be transferred to other positions by the start of the new fiscal year if they could not secure the assigned targets.

Besides, officials will also be recommended for rewards if they achieved their assigned target by the end of this year, they added.

The FBR has also allocated more amounts for the rewards to the competent officials for the new fiscal year in order to improve the performance of the officials.
