KARACHI: The Model Customs Exports has accelerated the process of tax recovery and has issued a final notice to M/s Ishtiaq Ahmed and Company which is allegedly involved in tax evasion of Rs 7.6 million.
Sources told Customs Today that the company failed to deposit any amount under the head of surcharge while it was also involved in the tax evasion of million of rupees in the wake of other taxes. The sources said that the FBR had issued notice to the companies two months ago in which it was warned to deposit tax within 15 days otherwise department will take strict action against them.
