FBR to extend income tax number to 90 million citizens

LAHORE: The FBR is likely to declare national identification card number (NICN) as national tax number (NTN) in the coming budget, it is learnt.

According to official sources, at least 3.5 million citizens have national tax numbers and the FBR plans to increase this number to 90 million.
