FBR resumes PIA’s NTN on federal govt’s interference

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has resumed the national tax number (NTN) of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

According to the source, the FBR had suspended the NTN of the PIA following the charges of tax evasion. The FBR had been asking the PIA administration for early submission of different taxes imposed on ATR and Airbus planes.
