FBR, Revenue Division to get approval of Rs2622m for upcoming Fiscal year today

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) along with Revenue Division going to get approval of Rs2622 million to meet their expenditures for the upcoming fiscal year. In this regard, the Finance Ministry is going to place demands before the Lower House of the Parliament today (Tuesday). In this connection, the Finance Minister will present three demands before the National Assembly elated to the expenditures of the FBR, Customs, Inland Revenue as well as Revenue Division.

A source at FBR told Customs Today that Finance Minister Miftah Ismail would present a demand before the National Assembly seeking that a sum not exceeding Rs441.9 million be granted to the federal government to meet expenditure during the financial year ending on June 30, 2019 in respect of Federal Board of Revenue.

The source said that after getting the approval from the House, the finance minister would move the house and demand that an amount not exceeding Rs 808.8 million be granted to the federal government to meet expenditure during the financial year ending on June 30, 2019 in respect of Customs.

Similarly, after getting approval from the National Assembly, the source said that finance minister would move to the House that a sum not exceeding Rs1333.5 million be granted to the federal government to meet expenditure during the financial year ending 30th June, 2019 in respect of Inland Revenue.

Moreover, the source told that Finance Minister Miftah Ismail would also demand of the House to approve an amount not exceeding Rs 37.8 million to the federal government to meet expenditure during the financial year ending on June 30, 2019 in respect of revenue division.
