FBR seeks list of clerical, class IV employees for disbursement of welfare fund

SIALKOT: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has directed all Customs Collectorates to finalize a list of all clerical and class IV employees who are serving in the Customs Department on regular and on contract basis.

Sources told Customs Today that after finalzing this list, the Customs Member will refer this list to the FBR. Sources said that after two years all customs collectorates are bound to send the list to the  board.

FBR after reviewing the list will finalize names of employees who are entitled to get welfare fund on seniority basis.  Sources said that FBR consider employees who are serving from last three years in the Customs department. Sources said that FBR is providing welfare fund on merit basis whereas all employees are satisfied with the decisions of FBR regarding disbursement of welfare fund.
