FBR seeks tax payment details of auctions from Ganga Ram Hospital

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) seeks details of tax payments on the auction of canteens/ cafeteria, parking area, space for general/ medical stores, goods vehicle and other properties from the management of Ganga Ram Hospital for the period of first July 2015 to 31st August 2017.

According to the details, Amir Yasin, Assistant Commissioner of Withholding Zone, Regional Tax Office-II (RTO) issued notice to the Medical Superintendent Sir Ganga Ram Hospital seeking details about the auctions and tax payment of canteens/ cafeteria, parking area, space for general/ medical stores, goods vehicle and other properties for last two years.

Notice sent under section 176 of Income Tax Ordinance 2001 regarding collection of tax under section 236A IBID on auction.

As per notice to the Superintendent Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, FBR asked to compliance till 19th September, in case of non compliance penalty proceeding will be imposed under the section 182 of Income tax ordinance 2001. RTO-II deputed Muhammad Nauman Khan Inspector Inland Revenue to collect information according to the notice issued by the authority.
