FBR starts investigation into assets of artists, singers

KARACHI: Thee Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has started investigation into the assets of the artists in Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi.

According to the sources, the FBR will investigate the assets of those artists and singers who are earning in millions but are not paying tax according to their actual income. The FBR sources said that a number of artists from Karachi have not been paying tax for the last many years.
