KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has started to trace data of tax defaulters having luxury cars.
The data of 45,000 cars has been collected. As many as 5,000 car owners did not pay tax. The board is of the view that 2% out of 45,000 car owners might have paid the tax. However, the FBR is investigating the tax defaulter car owners. Investigation will be completed by the end of December and a stern action will be taken in the first week of January.
