ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued notification for suspension of Amjad Ali Khan presently posted as Assistant Commissioner, Corporate Regional Office, Lahore for three months.
A notification issued by the Federal Board of Revenue read as “In exercise of powers conferred under section 5 (1) Ii) of Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1983, the Competent Authority is pleased to place Amjad Ali Khan (IRS-BS-17), presently posted as Assistant Commissioner, Corporate Regional Tax Office, Lahore under suspension for a period of three months with immediate effect.
Earlier, on August 18, 2020, FBR has issued notification to suspend Syed Zubair Shah for a period of three months with immediate effect.
A notification issued by FBR read “in exercise of powers conferred under section 5 (1)(i) of Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973, the Competent Authority is pleased to place Syed Zubair Shah, BS-19 officer of Inland Revenue Service presently posted as additional commissioner-Inland Revenue Large Taxpayers Unit, Islamabad under suspension for a period of three months with effect from 18.8.2020.
