FBR to announce postings of IRS, PCS officers in July

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has notified promotions of Inland Revenue Service and Pakistan Customs Service’ officers, however, the postings of these officers would be announced in July 2015.

It is known that senior officers would be opted for National Management Course (NMC) in August and their offices would be vacated, so a large-scale transfers and postings to be witnessed at that time. Moreover, the fiscal year is about to end and the field formations have to meet their targets.

It is important to mention here that FBR recently notified promotions of BS-19 and BS-20 officers of both Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) and Inland Revenue Service (IRS).

This is a possibility that postings of IRS officers could be announced in a couple of weeks; however PCS officers would be posted in July.
